Job Summary:

• Mechanical Product Styling, Design & development of Construction Equipment for New Construction or Concrete Equipment.
• Expert in crafting the visual and interactive elements of a product, focusing on creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing designs. 
• Design exposure and deep understanding of user behaviour, design principles, and technology to solve complex challenges and enhance the overall user experience.
• Exposure of sheet metal, Soft trim, plastic part & overall aesthetic design of vehicle. 
• Development of 3D models, 2D Drawing in Solid Edge.
• Project Plan & Monitoring for Structural Components.
   

Skills Required

Vehicle styling, design decisions, Exterior & interior concept development, Product Look & Feel

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of 3D concept models and release of 2D drawings for manufacturing.
• To shape the future of our product, from conceptualizing new features to refining existing product range.
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to bring product visions to life.
• Conducting user research and translating insights into design decisions.
• Co-ordination for Proto Assembly at shop-floor and Testing.

Must have Skills    

• Development new vehicle styling and users interface to ensure the product not only looks appealing but also meets functional requirements and user needs.
• Designing user-centric product interfaces and experiences
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to bring visions to life.
• Conducting user research and translating insights into design decisions.
• To shape the future of our product, from conceptualizing new features to refining existing product range.
• Exterior & interior concept development for product styling. 
• 3D modelling and drafting in Solid Edge
• Resolving fields failures and manufacturing issues.
• Project Plan & Monitoring for Components.

Nice to have Skills    

• Manufacturing process knowledge.
• GD&T exposure for making drawings and stack up tolerance calculations.

General Activities

• Activities specified as part of the KPIs with relevant targets and weightages shall be performed and recorded on OPEL tool/data sources connected to the KPIs periodically.
• Any other activities unspecified and which is not part of the above list shall be performed as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
